people (5626 males and 5653 females) counted in Coomera-Cedar Creek (1) . This represents an increase of 5032 people (80.6%) since the 1996 Census, and an increase of 6152 people (120.0%) since the 1991 Census. Of those people counted on Census Night, 10670 (94.6%) were counted at home.

During the week prior to Census Night 2001, 4776 people in Coomera-Cedar Creek (2633 males and 2143 females) were employed, representing 90.4% of the labour force.
